It features a series of essays and interviews by cultural theorist and professor Elke Krasny, curator and writer Jari Malta, art historian and curator Helga Nyman, curator and writer Tirdad Zolgahdirand, and curator Ida Højgaard Thjømøe, and thoroughly engages with the concept of play as a transformative, critical and analytical tool in artistic, educational and everyday contexts.

The book has been made possible with support from The City of Oslo Art Collection and the Norwegian Art Council.
